ABOUT US
The Cactus Flower is a single-room bed & breakfast, built in 1898, located two blocks from historic downtown Hico, Texas.
Hico is located at the top of the Texas Hill Country. We are 1:15 hours southwest of Ft. Worth, 2:00 hours from Dallas, 1:00 hour from Waco, 3:00 hours from San Antonio, and 1:45 minutes from Abilene, 4:00 hours from Houston.
We are a traditional bed & breakfast, your meal may be delivered to your room, or eaten at our breakfast bar. Weekend breakfast is prepared by our in-house chef, Kyle Hargrove. Breakfast is a three course meal with juice & coffee.

Breakfast
Our three course breakfast is prepared by Chef Kyle, with each meal tailored to your dietary needs and likes. You may chose to eat at the breakfast bar in the kitchen or you may be served in the privacy of your suite. Breakfast is served between 8:00 - 10:00, your choice of time. This delicious meal is included in your nightly rate.
Room Amenities
Wifi is available at no charge during your stay with us. Wifi code is in the room. There is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee/tea maker in the room. A television is in the room.
Outdoor Areas
Our backyard, deck and patio are there for your use and pleasure. Your private deck has two rocking chairs, and overlooks our backyard. Rain or shine, your deck is a great spot for coffee, wine, reading a book, or watching the birds & squirrels.
Housekeeping
Upon arrival, you will find your room spotless and fresh. Lights & ceiling fan on. Turn down service & room reset is available.
Fire Pit
Our fire pit is available (dependent upon weather and any burn bans). Chairs and end tables are placed near the fire pit, just ready for a great glass of wine & cigar. Firewood is available on site.
In-Room Dining Service
Breakfast may be served in your room at your request. There is coffee & tea service in the room with a variety of choices as well as sweeteners. Water is in the room for you as well. Weekday breakfast service is served in suite.
